The Author, miserable at Mount Qomolangma

Randall P. Girdner was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, but strangely enough, he is now a Canadian citizen and summers in Orillia, Ontario.  He will not tell you which house, however.  He has taught middle and high school students most of his life in countries around the world, including Kazhukistatatan, Baliland, The People’s Republic of Hoodyhoo, and Poo-Poo Ville.  He has two lovely daughters and a wife that tolerates his strange and unusual flights of fancy.

He currently teaches drama, film, and 6th grade social studies at Shanghai Community International School.  Can you guess which city and country this school is in?  The winner gets a prize!

Other work by Randall P. Girdner includes his daily cartoons about his daughters, entitled, “Harper+Abbey” and the infamous “TJHS 1987,” both of which can be read daily at gracelandwest.com.  Boyd McCloyd is the first in a series of novels.  For more information about Randall and his work, visit gracelandwest.com.  Or, you can follow Randall P. on Twitter here.
